About the Role

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This role requires a candidate with a DHS Public Trust Clearance, who will play a crucial role in enhancing our IT service management capabilities. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement best practices for ServiceNow development, ensuring high-quality code and documentation.
  • Provide technical mentoring to junior developers and support team members in troubleshooting issues.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other applications using REST APIs and data integration techniques.
  • Manage ITSM processes, including incident, problem, change, and asset management.
  • Continuously improve existing ServiceNow solutions based on user feedback and industry trends.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a focus on ITSM solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow APIs, and application development.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess a DHS Public Trust Clearance or be eligible to obtain one.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Pega or other ITSM tools.
  • Familiarity with IT Asset Management (ITAM) and lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of PHP and data integration techniques.
