Senior Security Consultant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Consultant to join our dynamic team at A2G Consulting. This Senior Security Consultant remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge security frameworks such as OWASP, NIST CSF, and CIS. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our clients' projects while working in a hybrid environment.

What You'll Do

• Act as the security representative within project streams for new and upcoming initiatives, translating security policies into risk controls for new and existing projects.
• Conduct security architecture and design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Support project and development teams with relevant security knowledge and assist with the implementation of security design principles.
• Guide development and project teams in the remediation of identified security deficiencies.
• Plan and execute application pentests, ensuring follow-up on remediation measures.
• Recommend and assist in the implementation of security controls in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of supported applications.
• Understand and apply secure architecture and design principles, threat modeling, and secure coding practices.
• Stay updated on EU and international compliance requirements such as GDPR, PCI DSS, and CRA.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 8-10 years of experience in security consulting, particularly with pentesting tools and techniques.
• Expertise in security frameworks such as OWASP, NIST CSF, and CIS.
• Experience with containers and serverless technologies.
• Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership, show initiative, and work as a team player in a dynamic environment.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in relevant security domains.
• Experience in working with international clients.
• Familiarity with additional compliance requirements beyond GDPR and PCI DSS.
