About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Security Architect - Remote to join our innovative team at Jobgether. In this pivotal role, you will shape the security architecture to align with business needs and respond to emerging threats. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing security controls and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards. As a Senior Security Architect, you will directly interact with leadership, guiding the necessary security protocols and enhancements for seamless operations.

What You'll Do

  • Map business requirements to security controls effectively.
  • Participate in all workstream meetings and contribute to security discussions.
  • Collect security requirements and validate them with business stakeholders.
  • Report status and risks regarding security to leadership regularly.
  • Review new requested services for compliance with security protocols.
  • Work closely with the overall security team to enhance security practices.

Requirements

  • CISSP or similar certification is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in security architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of security controls and business reporting.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud security.
  • Ability to interact with AVP level stakeholders regularly.
  • Proven experience mapping business requirements to security controls.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with security frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
  • Knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment.
