About the Role
We are looking for a Senior React Developer to join our innovative team at FinDev. This Senior React Developer remote position is an exciting opportunity to work on a groundbreaking project aimed at transforming the middle office of a major asset management fund. As a key player in our product team, you will help us rebuild the entire securities lifecycle management system, which is the largest initiative in our company's history.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop tools to manage the full investment lifecycle, ensuring seamless workflows for key financial functions.
- Create KPI dashboards that provide executives with clear visibility into the health and performance of investments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Utilize your strong commercial experience with React to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and work with Browser Web APIs to enhance application functionality.
- Leverage cloud technologies to optimize application performance and scalability.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong commercial experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in using NPM and working with Browser Web APIs.
- Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and their application in software development.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of asset management processes and tools.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
