Senior QA Engineer - Embedded Systems for Aerospace Company

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer - Embedded Systems to join our innovative aerospace company. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a hybrid work environment. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our embedded software systems.

What You'll Do

• Develop testing principles and methodologies for software components.
• Automate testing for control and measurement equipment and components of spacecraft.
• Verify new functionalities and conduct regression testing.
• Manage release processes and testing strategies for products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in building test automation using Python, pytest, and Allure TestOps.
• Experience in manual testing and embedded software testing.
• Ability to create test plans, test cases, and testing reports.
• Knowledge of test design techniques and requirement tracing.
• Basic understanding of computer networks (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS).
• Willingness to work in laboratory conditions.
• Understanding of GRPC and REST principles.
• Ability to simulate HTTP and GRPC requests using tools like Postman, curl, or wget.
• Experience with protocols and interfaces for connecting devices to PCs (Ethernet, Modbus, RS232/RS485, USB).
• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD systems (GitLab).
• Basic Linux skills.
