About the Role

We are seeking a Remote DevOps Engineer to join our team for a banking project. As a Remote DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with the operational department to manage IT infrastructure and ensure smooth operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a critical financial project while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

What You'll Do

  • Organize interactions and monitor vendor commitments to the bank.
  • Identify and analyze system issues to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring tools for system performance.
  • Participate in project activities and infrastructure implementation.
  • Manage the deployment process and coordinate with related departments during business process disruptions.
  • Support the Kubernetes (K8s) cluster and ensure its optimal performance.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new infrastructure components in systems.
  • Update infrastructure components to utilize the latest software versions with maximum security levels.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Remote DevOps Engineer with strong Kubernetes (K8s) skills.
  • Proficient in deploying K8s clusters using kubeadm or Ansible scripts.
  • Experience with CNI plugins such as Calico, Cillium, and Flannel.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure components deployment and configuration using Ansible and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database administration skills.
  • Strong Linux administration skills and understanding of DevOps practices.
  • Experience with monitoring systems for server clusters.
  • Technical degree in a relevant field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Kafka, Istio, VictoriaMetrics, ELK, Hashicorp Vault, ArgoCD, MongoDB, and Redis.
