Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Remote Automation Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer remote to join Myticas Consulting's team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a leading client based in Chicago, IL, while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software products through comprehensive testing strategies and collaboration with various teams.

What You'll Do

• Analyze, design, test, and deliver technology solutions while implementing comprehensive software quality assurance strategies.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Cypress and Selenium.
• Assist in building CI/CD pipelines to execute test scripts on schedule.
• Document, track, and resolve software defects in collaboration with the product delivery team.
• Ensure quality is integrated into the software development lifecycle through peer reviews and relevant quality assurance processes.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years as a Senior Quality Engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Cypress and Selenium.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Java.
• Experience with cloud providers like AWS.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
• Salesforce knowledge is a plus.
