Full-Stack Software Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Data Experience team at Akamai. This remote Full-Stack Software Engineer opportunity allows you to work on distributed platforms and solve technology problems on a large scale. You will be part of a collaborative and inclusive team that operates systems handling over 7PB of data daily, processing more than 5 trillion records each day.

What You'll Do

• Develop and integrate backend systems and frontend applications as a Full-Stack Software Engineer.
• Collaborate with product management, architects, and other engineering teams to build features that enhance customer understanding of their products and performance.
• Address complex problems through development, automation, and systems programming.
• Work in a cross-functional team where quality and availability are paramount.
• Gather requirements, design, implement, and maintain services for customer-facing reports and alerts.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Java and the Spring framework.
• Willingness to learn JavaScript and Angular.
• Proficiency in API design, development, security, and management.
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and monitoring tools like Grafana and Splunk.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.
