Senior QA Engineer (Load Testing with JMeter) - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer specializing in JMeter Load Testing to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance and reliability of our IDP software solution, which serves as a unified authentication point for our internal products and user-facing interfaces. Your expertise in load testing will be crucial to maintaining our service level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring robust performance under peak loads.

What You'll Do

• Conduct load testing for the IDP product, focusing on SSO and authentication processes to ensure compliance with SLA requirements.
• Develop load testing scripts and emulators for external systems using JMeter.
• Prepare and configure load generators, maintaining the testing infrastructure for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the Tech Lead and Product Owner to develop and approve documentation related to load testing.
• Analyze results, localize issues, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to the development team.
• Prepare comprehensive reports detailing test results, limitations, and recommendations for improvements.
• Utilize your experience in API web services (REST) and SQL to enhance testing processes.
• Work with *nix systems and graphical visualizers to streamline testing operations.

Requirements

• A higher education degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years of experience in developing load testing scripts and emulators for external systems using JMeter.
• Proficient in working with API web services (REST).
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Postman/SoapUI.
• Familiarity with *nix systems.
• Experience in developing load testing methodologies.
• Proven track record in conducting load testing, localizing issues, and analyzing results.
• Experience in preparing and configuring generators for load testing.
• At least 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer in telecommunications projects.
• Experience in developing test models for high-load systems with multiple integrations.
• Familiarity with testing solutions built on microservices architecture.
