About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer (Full-Stack: Backend & Mobile) - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our applications across both backend and mobile platforms. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will work closely with developers and product managers to create and execute test plans, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement test plans for backend and mobile applications.
  • Conduct manual and automated testing using tools like Playwright and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve defects.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software quality.
  • Utilize CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing processes.
  • Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Contribute to performance optimization and data analysis efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on backend and mobile testing.
  • Strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks and tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analytics.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience with performance optimization and software development lifecycle.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Ruby and RESTful API development.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and backend development.
