Senior Product Designer & Researcher - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer & Researcher - Remote to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in user experience design and research to create innovative solutions that enhance our products. As a Senior Product Designer and Researcher, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy and design excellence.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design process from ideation to implementation, ensuring a user-centered approach throughout.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and design specifications.
• Advocate for accessibility and usability best practices in all design efforts.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of the design team.
• Analyze user feedback and data to inform design iterations and improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in product design.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design and research, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, and design systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience in SaaS or hardware product design is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with GitHub and version control for design assets.
• Experience in data analysis to inform design decisions.
• Knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS) is a bonus.
