Senior Product Designer - Remote Position

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer - Remote to join our dynamic team at AvidXchange. What You'll Do

• Shape end-to-end experiences for customers, suppliers, and internal employees.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the discovery and ideation phases of product design.
• Conceptualize innovative design solutions and craft seamless interactions.
• Conduct user research to uncover needs and develop insights that inform design concepts.
• Transform customer and business requirements into intuitive product and service solutions.
• Guide design processes including discovery, research, ideation, flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Facilitate workshops such as service blueprinting and journey mapping to align business objectives with user needs.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure cohesive experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a User Experience Designer, Product Designer, or Interaction Designer.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating successful projects and design initiatives.
• Experience leading large-scale product design initiatives and mentoring other designers.
• Proficiency in creating experience maps, user journeys, and service blueprints.
• Mastery of core design skills in interaction design, information architecture, and user interface design.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex problems and influence stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with service design methodologies.
• Familiarity with design systems and style guides.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards in design.

• Competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 annually.
