About the Role

KOHO is seeking a talented Senior Product Designer to join our innovative team. This Senior Product Designer remote position allows you to work from anywhere in Canada, contributing to the design of user-centric financial products that empower our customers. You will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and enhancing the overall design strategy of our platform.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design process from concept to execution for various product features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and engineering to deliver high-quality designs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas.
• Ensure consistency in design across all platforms and devices.
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to enhance team skills.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the design process.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the FinTech industry or similar domains.
• Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
