Senior Product Designer - Onchain Options Trading

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer - Onchain Options Trading to join our innovative team at Kraken. As a fully remote company, we are proud to have Krakenites in over 70 countries, united by our mission to accelerate the global adoption of crypto. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the design of groundbreaking products that enhance user experience in the Onchain space.

What You'll Do

• Lead the delivery of completely new product concepts for the Onchain space, setting industry benchmarks with visually rich and innovative designs.
• Collaborate closely with other designers, researchers, product managers, content writers, and engineers to create exceptional user experiences.
• Develop the visual concept for Kraken’s Onchain products, balancing business objectives with customer needs and technical constraints.
• Own your work and take full accountability for the quality of your designs, tracking outcomes and results.
• Monitor emerging customer trends and use insights to upgrade our designs, impacting our overall design direction.
• Conduct design reviews, providing and receiving meaningful feedback to foster a culture of excellence.

Requirements

• Expert in solving tough UX challenges and crafting intuitive user experiences.
• Proficient in using research-backed methods and analytics to inform design decisions.
• Strong communication skills to clearly articulate design intent and strategic rationale.
• Knowledge of Ethereum and decentralized workflows, as well as financial platforms such as trading platforms and derivatives.
• Proven experience leading 0→1 product design initiatives across mobile and web, with a track record of shipping high-quality products in the Onchain or crypto space.
