Senior PHP Developer - Full Stack (Remote FinTech)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team in the FinTech sector. This is a fully remote position where you will leverage your expertise in backend-heavy full stack development. As a Senior PHP Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing e-commerce solutions and payment systems that drive our business forward.

What You'll Do

• Architect and develop robust applications using PHP and Laravel, focusing on backend functionality while also engaging in frontend development with React and TypeScript.
• Implement CI/CD processes using Docker and GitLab, ensuring smooth deployment and integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Optimize and refactor legacy systems, enhancing performance and maintainability.
• Engage in code reviews and Agile/Scrum practices to ensure code quality and team collaboration.

Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial development experience, with at least 6 years in the banking sector.
• Proficient in PHP, Laravel, and full stack development.
• Strong understanding of DDD, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles.
• Experience with frontend technologies including React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

Nice to Have

• Experience with payment systems and e-commerce solutions.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger for API documentation.
• Familiarity with legacy system optimization and refactoring.
