About the Role

We're hiring a Senior People Operations Manager to join our growing team at Gymdesk. As a Senior People Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our HR infrastructure and culture while working remotely. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for building scalable people systems and enhancing employee experience.

What You'll Do

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting, including writing compelling job descriptions and sourcing top remote talent.
  • Create seamless onboarding experiences that set new hires up for success.
  • Administer health insurance, 401(k), dental, and vision programs via our PEO.
  • Manage international contractor relationships and ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws.
  • Be the go-to person for employee questions and conflict resolution.
  • Build scalable HR processes, policies, and documentation.
  • Implement and optimize HRIS tools and workflows.
  • Develop performance management and career development systems.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of People Operations or HR experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Hands-on experience with PEOs and international employment.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. employment law and HR compliance.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience scaling HR from 50-100+ employees.
  • Background in B2B SaaS or technology companies.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification.
