About the Role

Join PayNearMe as a Senior Paralegal in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing key legal functions, including equity administration and corporate governance. What You'll Do

• Work closely with attorneys and cross-functional partners to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Administer the company's equity program using Shareworks, ensuring all processes are executed smoothly.
• Prepare Board of Directors exhibits for stock option approvals, facilitating timely decision-making.
• Support the General Counsel with Board meeting preparation, including documentation and logistics.
• Manage outbound signature workflows and legal correspondence, maintaining clear communication.
• Handle subpoena intake and coordinate responses, ensuring legal obligations are met.
• Assist with NDA review and special projects, contributing to various legal initiatives.
• Utilize your strong organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams independently.

Requirements

• 5+ years of paralegal experience is required, demonstrating expertise in legal processes.
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is essential.
• Experience with equity administration platforms, preferably Shareworks.
• Familiarity with corporate governance and Delaware corporate law is a plus.
• Proficiency with legal technology tools to streamline operations.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to evolving legal technologies.
