About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our team remotely, with relocation assistance provided. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SDWAN, to ensure high availability and performance across critical operations in healthcare settings.

What You'll Do

  • Implement and manage complex network infrastructure in an enterprise environment.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to align network solutions with organizational goals.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network incidents, providing level 2 escalation support.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to network configurations and topologies.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
  • Experience with network security tools including firewalls and IDS/IPS.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based networking solutions, particularly AWS and Azure.
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer service.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent.
  • Experience with ITSM functionalities like change control and ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare information systems like Epic or Cerner.
