Senior Mobile Application Developer (Android/​iOS) - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer (Android/iOS) remote to design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver secure, performant, and user-friendly experiences across mobile devices.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features on a regular release cadence.
• Integrate APIs and external data sources; ensure reliable data handling and optimized app performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing functionality.
• Conduct code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Strong expertise in Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
• Deep understanding of mobile app architecture, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working in Agile teams.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile applications.

Nice to Have

• Experience with unit/integration testing and CI/CD pipelines for stable releases.
• Familiarity with Android Studio, Android SDK, Lifecycle components.
• Knowledge of key iOS frameworks, App Store submission process, and best practices.
• Experience building secure apps (authentication, secure storage, privacy-minded implementation).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to mentor and guide team members.
