Senior Microsoft System Administrator - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft System Administrator to join our dynamic IT Operations team at Da Vinci. This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely while collaborating closely with Helpdesk, Linux Administrators, Network Engineers, and Cybersecurity teams. As a Senior Microsoft System Administrator, you will optimize our user infrastructure and have the freedom to design creative solutions that enhance our operations.

What You'll Do

• Engineer and maintain a global Microsoft Directory infrastructure, ensuring security best practices, business continuity, high availability, and scalability.
• Proactively foresee and prevent issues, implementing permanent fixes when problems arise.
• Automate, standardize, and document IT processes to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency.
• Support internal teams with hardware and software issues, ensuring seamless operations.
• Conduct periodic audits of the environment, enforcing security and industry standards.
• Perform remote troubleshooting to diagnose production issues effectively.
• Manage the life cycle of servers, building and deploying new solutions as needed.
• Monitor performance and manage system capacity to ensure optimal operation.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with Microsoft systems, including Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra, and integrated on-premise Active Directory.
• A degree in computer science, engineering, ICT, or a related field.
• Ability to manage multiple projects across various teams to successful completion.
• Experience in building effective and scalable systems using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), PowerShell scripting, and Autopilot.
• Strong skills in Windows desktop and server configuration management.
• Understanding of networking, authentication, and identity management principles.
• Experience with Linux administration is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with cloud services and virtualization technologies.
• Certifications in Microsoft technologies.
