About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer - Remote to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced mechatronic systems that integrate mechanical, electronic, and software components. As a Senior Mechatronics Engineer, you will work on cutting-edge projects that impact various industries, including robotics, automation, and precision mechanics.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design and development of mechatronic systems, ensuring integration of mechanical, electronic, and software components.
• Utilize CAD software such as SolidWorks and CREO for 3D design and modeling of mechanical components.
• Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) to validate designs and ensure quality control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Manage project timelines and resources, ensuring successful completion of engineering projects.
• Implement innovative solutions for motion control, dynamics, and actuation systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechatronics and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Mechatronics Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and FEA software.
• Strong understanding of motion control, dynamics, and actuation systems.
• Experience with project management and leadership in engineering projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Beckhoff PLC and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of energy storage and power generation systems.
• Familiarity with injection molding processes.
