Senior Manager - Central Production and Performance (Remote)

About the Role

Waymo is seeking a Senior Manager - Central Production and Performance (Remote) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead operations in London, ensuring our Fleet Operating Partner receives the necessary support to thrive. As a key player in our mission to deliver the Waymo Driver, you will engage with various stakeholders and oversee daily autonomous vehicle operations.

What You'll Do

• Facilitate in-person touchpoints and feedback loops with our Fleet Operating Partner to empower their success.
• Monitor live operational data to detect and respond to immediate issues impacting AV performance.
• Provide hands-on guidance and real-time coaching to partners and vendors to manage performance effectively.
• Regularly update stakeholders on team activities and operational status, ensuring prompt communication across teams.
• Actively enforce Waymo’s safety standards and performance benchmarks, addressing deviations promptly.
• Generate ideas for continuous improvement in daily operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in consulting, technical operations, or related roles.
• Strong data-driven decision-making skills and comfort with relevant technologies.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving with technical teams.
• Some flexibility in scheduling to ensure business continuity with AMER and EMEA.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, operations research, engineering, or related fields.
