Pastry Chef de Partie - Exciting New Restaurant
About the Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie (CDP) remote to join our kitchen team at a brand-new restaurant in Mayfair. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a beautifully designed space that offers an exceptional dining experience, combining high-quality cuisine with outstanding service in a vibrant atmosphere. As a Pastry Chef de Partie remote, you will play a key role in our pastry team, preparing and executing high-quality desserts and baked goods while maintaining the highest culinary standards.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and execute a range of desserts, pastries, and baked items to the highest standards.
- Manage your section efficiently during service, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and timely delivery.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organization, and food hygiene in all pastry areas.
- Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef on new menu development and seasonal creations.
- Support ordering, stock control, and waste reduction efforts.
- Assist in mentoring junior pastry chefs and commis in the team.
- Follow all company policies and food safety regulations to maintain a safe and professional environment.
- Work seamlessly with the rest of the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure a flawless guest experience.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in pastry techniques, with a creative and detail-oriented mindset.
- Previous experience as a Pastry CDP or strong experience as a Pastry Commis Chef in a fast-paced, high-quality setting.
- Able to remain calm and focused under pressure, with great communication and collaboration skills.
- Capable of running your section smoothly and delivering consistently high results.
- A genuine drive to uphold the highest standards in taste, presentation, and cleanliness.
Nice to Have
- Experience in high-end pastry kitchens.
- Knowledge of current pastry trends and techniques.
- Ability to contribute creatively to menu development.
