Senior Lead Product Designer - Consumer Electronics

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Lead Product Designer to join a leading consumer electronics company in Hong Kong. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-fidelity audio products and connected devices. As a Senior Lead Product Designer remote, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end product design, mentoring junior designers, and translating customer insights into successful products.

What You'll Do

• Lead product design from user research and concept development through to 3D engineering and prototyping.
• Produce high-quality 3D CAD and 2D deliverables using SolidWorks, Rhino, KeyShot, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Translate briefs and product roadmaps into customer-centric, on-brand product solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure technical feasibility and quality.
• Research and monitor design, CMF, and lifestyle trends to inform innovation and future product strategy.

Requirements

• Degree in Product or Industrial Design with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong portfolio of consumer products; experience in premium audio is preferred.
• Hands-on approach to developing and executing design concepts.
• Proven ability to connect customers emotionally and functionally with a brand.
• Excellent visual, presentation, and storytelling skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in retail environment design and POS.
• Solid 2D/3D software proficiency; experience with animation and/or AI tools is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes beyond injection moulding.
