(Senior) Key Account & Expansion Manager - Grocery Retail (Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking a (Senior) Key Account & Expansion Manager to join our dynamic team at air up. This remote position focuses on grocery retail across France and BeNeLux, where you will play a crucial role in expanding our presence and driving growth. As a (Senior) Key Account Manager, you will take ownership of key accounts and lead initiatives that enhance our market position.
What You'll Do
- Drive acquisition and successfully onboard new strategic partners in line with our growth strategy across France and BeNeLux.
- Take full commercial ownership of selected French and/or BeNeLux accounts, ensuring the achievement of sales and margin targets.
- Develop and execute tailored, holistic joint business plans aligned with our overall company objectives and growth ambitions.
- Build and nurture long-term partnerships with key partners, driving high customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.
- Analyze market, sales, and customer data to identify opportunities, define clear action plans, and accelerate performance.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales Coordinator, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics) to ensure seamless execution.
- Work alongside a high-performing team, sharing best practices and striving for collective success.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Key Account Management within the FMCG/CPG industry, ideally with full ownership of national grocery retail accounts.
- Confidence in leading annual negotiations and pricing discussions, with a solid understanding of the French or BeNeLux grocery retail landscape.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills combined with a clear commercial mindset and a consistent track record of delivering against sales and margin targets.
- Hands-on approach and a team player mentality, proactively driving initiatives across functions.
- Fluency in English and French (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
- A valid driver’s license (B) and willingness to travel regularly.

- Experience in digital marketing strategies within the FMCG sector.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in product development.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and data analysis software.
