About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team at LGG Advisors, a leading consultancy firm in the financial services sector. This Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer remote position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects while being part of a dynamic team that values creativity and technical excellence.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop scalable full-stack applications in alignment with established technology roadmaps and best practices.
• Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, and system architecture discussions, contributing to both functional and technical excellence.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance front-end interfaces and back-end services, ensuring high performance, usability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed teams to ensure cohesive system integration, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct thorough integration testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to guarantee application reliability and quality.
• Implement SDLC best practices, emphasizing automation, CI/CD pipelines, and low-touch deployments.
• Promote code quality through peer mentoring, code reviews, and adherence to development standards.
• Proactively propose and drive technical improvements, adopting new frameworks, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in full-stack development using modern frameworks and tools, with a strong front-to-back delivery mindset.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Java.
• Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with back-end technologies like Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot.
• Solid knowledge of database systems, including both SQL and NoSQL.
• Experience working in distributed Agile teams, with tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Jenkins or similar.
• Understanding of secure coding principles, functional design systems, and architectural patterns.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
• 5-6 years of relevant work experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience building microservices and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with architectural decision-making frameworks and non-functional requirements such as security, fault tolerance, and high availability.
