About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our innovative team at UPPER, a Hamburg-based startup specializing in AI-driven solutions for optimizing industrial supply chains. This Senior Full-Stack Engineer remote role offers you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies that help businesses reduce inventory and enhance operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Own features end-to-end, from frontend to backend and database, ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with the Applications Team to build a state-of-the-art software platform.
• Deliver feature increments and resolve bugs proactively to enhance product reliability.
• Implement monitoring and testing frameworks to identify issues before they affect customers.
• Continuously improve the developer experience for faster delivery cycles.

Requirements

• Proven experience working on long-term, evolving products.
• Strong coding skills in React, TypeScript, and Node.js (or similar technologies).
• Intermediate-level experience with databases and GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress and Jest.
• Ability to lead projects or major feature initiatives effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Hasura or similar GraphQL middleware.
• Good understanding of CSS fundamentals.
• Background in event sourcing for complex workflows.
• DevOps/Cloud experience to enhance productivity.
• Experience integrating AI systems for improved functionality.
