Senior Frontend Engineer - Remote Position at TRM Labs

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team at TRM Labs, a blockchain intelligence company dedicated to building a safer world for billions. As a Senior Frontend Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in developing a large-scale web application that manages billions of transactions using React and Redux. Your expertise will help us tackle some of the most pressing challenges in the industry, including human trafficking and financial fraud.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain a robust web application that analyzes blockchain transaction activity at scale.
• Collaborate with Backend Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers to deliver high-quality features.
• Identify and resolve performance issues to enhance user experience.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
• Develop a deep understanding of crypto and blockchain technologies to inform product design.
• Work closely with product leads and customers to define a new category of enterprise software.
• Stay updated on frontend best practices and implement them in your work.

Requirements

• Strong background in Computer Science fundamentals.
• Extensive experience with modern frontend frameworks, particularly React.js and CSS-in-JS libraries like styled-components.
• Proven track record in designing and building data-heavy frontend applications.
• Familiarity with virtual currencies and blockchain analysis is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Vue.js or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.
• Experience in a startup environment.
