Senior Engineer - Applied Machine Learning (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Senior Engineer - Applied Machine Learning to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the technological vision and driving the development of our AI Knowledge Curation platform, which analyzes millions of customer support tickets from Fortune 500 enterprises to identify opportunities for knowledge base improvement. As a Senior Engineer - Applied Machine Learning, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of machine learning pipelines.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to defining and communicating the technological roadmap for large-scale knowledge curation and analytics, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Lead and contribute hands-on to the design, implementation, and optimization of ML pipelines for ingesting, processing, and analyzing high-volume customer support data.
• Drive research initiatives exploring state-of-the-art techniques in large-scale text analytics, clustering, topic modeling, and advanced LLM prompting strategies.
• Design and implement rigorous evaluation frameworks to measure the accuracy, impact, and business value of knowledge recommendations generated by the system.
• Partner closely with Product, Data Engineering, and Customer Success teams to translate business requirements into ML solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers on the team, promoting a culture of high standards and continuous learning.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering/machine learning projects.
• 3+ years experience implementing LLM-based solutions into production.
• Experience working with Python and its machine learning libraries.
• Experience working with Spark or other distributed computation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
