Senior DevOps Engineer - Cryptocurrency Exchange

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at Crypto.com. This Senior DevOps Engineer remote position offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, maintain, and improve software for various projects related to our core businesses. You will be actively involved in the design of various components behind scalable applications, from frontend UI to backend infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Develop tools for application and performance monitoring to ensure optimal functionality.
• Contribute to system architecture design and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Improve and manage Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
• Design and implement Disaster Recovery and backup solutions to safeguard our systems.
• Automate and streamline operations and processes for efficiency.
• Communicate, escalate, and follow up as appropriate to ensure that problems are resolved effectively.

Requirements

• Solid experience in AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes is essential for this Senior DevOps Engineer remote role.
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with monitoring systems like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with logging systems such as Fluentbit and ElasticSearch/OpenSearch.
• Experience in maintaining high-availability and low-latency crypto exchanges is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and network concepts.
• Experience with GitOps and ArgoCD is a bonus.
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps and AWS.
• Ability to write maintainable code and a strong interest in technology and financial environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in the cryptocurrency industry.
• Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
