About the Role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join our team at Instaffo. This remote position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about cloud technologies and want to work with cutting-edge tools like GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform. You will play a crucial role in defining infrastructure as code and optimizing our software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage Docker images and Kubernetes deployments.
  • Define infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Helm.
  • Develop Kubernetes operators and custom CLIs using Go.
  • Set up and maintain CI/CD processes to ensure seamless software delivery.
  • Manage GCP resources effectively with Terraform.
  • Debug network issues in distributed systems.
  • Collaborate closely with teams and clients to deliver tailored software solutions.
  • Participate in tech talks and continuous learning opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps/Cloud Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of GCP and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in Go and Bash scripting.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level); German is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
  • Familiarity with software craftsmanship and clean coding principles.

  • Knowledge of Java and software development best practices.
  • Previous experience in a remote work environment.
