Senior DDI Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior DDI Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in designing, transforming, managing, and migrating complex Infoblox environments. As a Senior DDI Engineer, you will be responsible for leading technical projects and ensuring the successful implementation of DDI systems across enterprise environments.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement complex DDI systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing network services.
  • Lead the migration and transformation of Infoblox environments, utilizing your extensive experience in DDI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and configure OEM platforms such as InfoBlox, BlueCat, or VitalQIP.
  • Utilize scripting languages like Perl and Python to automate processes and enhance system functionality.
  • Plan and execute migrations to or from various DDI OEM platforms, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and team members.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of network services, including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues related to DDI systems.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in designing, building, and migrating complex DDI systems in enterprise environments.
  • Proven track record of completing at least three Infoblox implementations or migrations.
  • Expert understanding of Network Services, including DNS, DHCP, ISC BIND, NTP, and TCP/IP.
  • Experience with Microsoft DDI and open-source DDI solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of network hardware, including switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with network operating systems such as MS Active Directory, Linux, and UNIX.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
