About the Role

Machinify is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our innovative team. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the United States while leading analytics efforts that drive impactful decisions in healthcare. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will leverage your extensive experience in data science and engineering to provide insights that enhance our AI-powered platform, which is already deployed by over 85 health plans covering more than 270 million lives.

What You'll Do

  • Lead analytics projects, utilizing your hands-on experience to derive actionable insights from complex healthcare data.
  • Develop and maintain production-quality dashboards for cross-functional teams, ensuring data is accessible and understandable.
  • Write efficient SQL queries to analyze large datasets and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to balance competing priorities and deliver technical products with measurable impact.
  • Utilize cloud-based services to enhance data processing and analytics capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related STEM field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science and engineering within a business environment.
  • Proven track record of leading projects and delivering results that drive business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with a first-principles approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience building large-scale production data pipelines and dashboards.
