About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Attribution Expansion team at TRM Labs. This Senior Data Engineer remote position will allow you to design, build, and operate data infrastructure that transforms noisy on-chain activity into reliable attribution signals at scale. You will collaborate with blockchain experts, data scientists, and software engineers to enhance our blockchain analytics capabilities.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement data pipelines that convert on-chain data into high-quality attribution signals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize algorithm implementations and data models.
  • Ensure the reliability and performance of attribution systems through robust monitoring and data quality checks.
  • Improve developer experience by providing templates, tooling, and CI/CD configurations.
  • Write high-quality code in SQL and Python, focusing on scalability and performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on blockchain analytics.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python, with experience in Airflow and handling large datasets.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, distributed processing, and data warehousing technologies.
  • Experience with tools such as Spark, BigQuery, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with machine learning infrastructure and tools like MLflow and Feast.
  • Interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain analysis.
