About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Architect - AI/MLOps Focus to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is perfect for individuals with over 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly those with hands-on expertise in securing AI and ML platforms. As a Senior Cybersecurity Architect, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of cloud-based AI, BI, and data analytics platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Design and document security architectures and blueprints for cloud-based AI, ML, and data platforms.
  • Secure MLOps workflows, including model training, deployment, CI/CD integration, access controls, and monitoring.
  • Embed security into DevSecOps and SDLC pipelines using Python-based automation.
  • Perform architecture and security reviews of AI/ML and data solutions.
  • Apply strong data security controls such as encryption, tokenization, data masking, and secure APIs.
  • Ensure secure IAM integration across cloud, data, and AI platforms.
  • Advise stakeholders on risk, threat modeling, and secure-by-design practices.
  • Operate autonomously in large-scale, regulated environments with thousands of systems.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in cybersecurity, focusing on architecture, AppSec, DevSecOps, and platform security.
  • Hands-on experience securing AI/ML platforms and MLOps workflows.
  • Strong DevSecOps experience, particularly in CI/CD security and automation.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for security automation and integration.
  • Solid experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
  • Strong understanding of data security and analytics environments.
  • Ability to operate at a senior architect level with excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to data analytics stacks.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML security risks and controls.
  • TOGAF / SABSA certification.
  • Experience producing audit evidence and security assurance artifacts.
