As a Senior Counsel, you will provide strategic legal advice and support for our trading solutions business, ensuring compliance with various regulations while helping to shape the future of finance. What You'll Do
- Provide legal guidance on trading activities, including spot, margin, derivatives, and API trading.
- Draft and review compliance manuals, policies, and procedures related to trading and lending activities.
- Negotiate and structure complex agreements such as ISDA, Master Lending Agreements, and Prime Brokerage Agreements.
- Collaborate with the Associate General Counsel and business heads to drive the growth of our trading solutions.
- Advise on regulatory frameworks affecting digital assets, including money transmission and CFTC rules.
Requirements
- Active membership in the state bar and significant experience in financial services law.
- Strong understanding of laws applicable to digital asset trading, including derivatives and lending.
- Proven ability to draft and negotiate a wide range of financial agreements.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or early-stage company.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
