Senior AWS DevOps Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely in Poland. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about cloud technologies. As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing infrastructure to support cloud-based applications, creating deployment architecture, and implementing continuous delivery pipelines.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage infrastructure to support cloud-based applications on AWS.
• Create deployment architecture and continuous delivery pipelines using modern DevOps practices.
• Design high-availability approaches and implement monitoring architecture, including dashboards and alerts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Utilize observability tooling such as Grafana, Datadog, and Prometheus for monitoring and performance optimization.
• Manage and automate complex platforms/applications on AWS, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• Conduct security assessments and maintain security awareness throughout the stack.

Requirements

• Proficient communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Experience delivering at an enterprise level within a remote agile environment.
• Strong background in managing and automating platforms/applications on AWS.
• Familiarity with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with container orchestration, particularly Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of observability practices and security frameworks (e.g., SOC2).
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Exceptional collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other cloud technologies such as Azure or GCP.
• Prior consulting experience is a plus.
