Senior Architect - Alternative Delivery Experience

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and client-facing Senior Architect with Alternative Delivery experience to join our growing team at AECOM. This Senior Architect remote position is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects while collaborating with a diverse team of professionals. You will be part of a global team dedicated to delivering a better world through innovative infrastructure solutions.

What You'll Do

• Act as a Senior Architect with responsibilities that include preparing planning documents, conceptual designs, and construction documents for a variety of public and private sector projects.
• Utilize software tools like Revit and AutoCAD to solve architectural challenges and create detailed designs.
• Maintain compliance with building standards, architectural practices, and applicable codes.
• Support the Architectural Manager and Project Manager throughout all phases of building design and construction.
• Engage with clients to develop creative, functional, and innovative designs that meet their needs.
• Assist in business development efforts to expand AECOM's client base and project portfolio.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
• Prepare technical specifications and cost estimates for projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in complex building projects.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential for this Senior Architect remote role.
• Must be a Licensed Architect with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA).
• Experience with Alternative Delivery models (Integrated Project Delivery, Multi-Disciplinary Building, etc.) is required.
• Strong communication skills and client-facing experience are essential.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code.
• Master’s degree in architecture or equivalent experience.
• Experience working collaboratively within dynamic teams, including external consultants.
• Strong conceptual and technical knowledge of building construction and systems.
• Project Management experience is a plus.
