About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Ansys Engineer to join our dynamic team at Segula Technologies. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in the energy sector, focusing on the design and analysis of nuclear and industrial equipment. As a Senior Ansys Engineer, you will be responsible for performing mechanical calculations and ensuring the structural integrity of various components.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct mechanical calculations for nuclear and industrial equipment using ANSYS and other finite element analysis tools.
  • Analyze input data, establish calculation hypotheses, and dimension equipment according to relevant standards such as RCC-M, ASME, and EUROCODES.
  • Prepare technical documentation in both French and English, including methodology notes, progress reports, and calculation summaries.
  • Communicate project progress and present results to stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and adherence to timelines.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural calculations or mechanical dimensioning through numerical simulation in nuclear engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of solid mechanics, seismic design, and thermal analysis.
  • Proficiency in finite element analysis tools such as ANSYS, SYSTUS, PIPESTRESS, and CASEAR.
  • Strong understanding of design codes such as FEM, RCCM, CODAP, and EUROCODE.
  • Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
