Senior Android Engineer - Mobile Development for Home Design

About the Role

Join us as a Senior Android Engineer to build next-gen mobile experiences for millions of users. In this role, you will work on innovative features that enhance our home design platform, Planner 5D. As a Senior Android Engineer, you will collaborate with a passionate team and leverage modern technologies to create seamless user experiences.

What You'll Do

• Develop complex features, including custom views and APIs, 2D/3D graphics, and AI-powered tools.
• Maintain a modular codebase and conduct thorough code reviews while adhering to best practices.
• Utilize popular Android libraries and Kotlin solutions to enhance app performance.
• Engage in all aspects of product development, from design to analytics and user authentication.
• Write tests, refactor code, and improve existing implementations while fixing bugs.
• Collaborate closely with a talented team of developers, designers, and managers to drive innovation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Android development.
• Proficient in Android frameworks, libraries, and services (Android SDK, Dagger, Jetpack).
• Strong understanding of best practices, including SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Proficient in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
• Experience with databases (SQL, SQLite, Room) and concurrent development (Kotlin coroutines, RxJava).
• Familiarity with supporting technologies such as REST, JSON, XML, HTML, Git, and Protobuf.

Nice to Have

• Experience with 2D and/or 3D graphics (Canvas, OpenGL, Vulkan).
• Familiarity with app payments and user authentication development.
• Fluent English skills.
