About the Role

Join our team as a Senior AI Engineer specializing in NLP and Generative AI. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in Spain while contributing to a project that aims to combat disinformation and fake news using advanced AI technologies.

What You'll Do

  • Develop AI/NLP models and libraries to support intelligent services and agents.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and fact-checkers to create systems for automated fact-checking.
  • Utilize your expertise in Python and deep learning techniques to handle large datasets and solve complex NLP problems.
  • Integrate research and development into products by working closely with product architecture teams.
  • Train and fine-tune machine learning models, including LLMs, and create evaluation frameworks that link metrics to business impact.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Python programming with over 7 years of experience.
  • Expertise in backend software engineering and MLOps.
  • In-depth knowledge of machine learning techniques, algorithms, and natural language processing (NLP).
  • Experience with data science libraries such as Numpy, pandas, torch, and scikit-learn.
  • 3+ years of experience using NLP models like BERT, GPT, and Sentence-BERT.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines and vector databases.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing with vector databases like Qdrant and ElasticSearch.
  • Experience with agentic and workflow-based frameworks.
