Senior Account Executive - Northern UKI Public Sector (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive - Northern UKI Public Sector (Remote) to join our dynamic team at Extreme Networks. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in sales to drive growth in the Northern Public Sector Territory. You will create and execute a strategic plan to develop relationships and pipelines with end-user customers and partners, contributing to Extreme's mission of delivering cutting-edge networking solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and deliver mid-term pipeline and close ‘won’ business according to targets.
  • Build business plans and marketing activity plans with the UKI Leadership team and regional channel partners to achieve revenue targets.
  • Coordinate contract negotiations between Extreme Networks and partners as needed.
  • Support partner’s sales planning and sales activity.
  • Understand and communicate Extreme's service model to ensure a smooth after-sales process and long-term customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Successful apprenticeship or university degree in an economic/business-related topic.
  • 5-10 years of sales experience in the network infrastructure arena.
  • Proven track record managing the Northern UK&I Public Sector region, with expertise across Healthcare, Local Government, and other key sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in developing new customer acquisition and maintaining long-term accounts.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts such as Cloud SaaS, Data Networking, and AI-Driven Networking.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience establishing a remote sales site in a home office mode.
  • Exceptional influencing skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Experience with the MEDDPICC Sales Process.
