About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our expanding team at Wilson Group. This Security Officer remote position offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will contribute to enhancing safety and security across various sectors. As a Security Officer, you will be part of a team that is committed to building a safer future for everyone.

What You'll Do

  • Provide exceptional customer service solutions to visitors, contractors, and clients.
  • Proactively monitor CCTV and Access Control Systems to ensure safety.
  • Conduct building patrols to identify and mitigate security and safety risks.
  • Identify and report hazards and building faults for rectification.
  • Support tenants and manage contractors and deliveries through dock management.
  • Respond to emergency situations effectively and efficiently.
  • Engage in contractor management duties and ad-hoc responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work well in a team or autonomously.
  • Willingness to support and step up into other roles as required.
  • Ability to work in a rotational roster (Nights/Days/Weekends).
  • Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports.
  • Proficiency in using computers and security-related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft Programs).
  • Physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods.

Nice to Have

  • Crowd Control endorsement is highly desirable.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
