Security Officer - Casino Operations (Remote Options Available)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Maverick Gaming. This role is essential for ensuring the safe operation of our casino, protecting both guests and employees while safeguarding the casino's assets. As a Security Officer, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the safety and security of our patrons.

What You'll Do

• Assist patrons as needed and provide excellent customer service internally and externally.
• Ensure all reports and correspondences are properly completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain an open line of communication with management.
• Identify security issues and develop solutions in coordination with management.
• Patrol company property, protect assets, and ensure the safety of all guests and personnel.
• Document and effectively write reports on all incidents.
• Respond to and handle emergencies using the proper method while simultaneously using the correct safety procedures.
• Ensure adherence to Nevada and federal laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous security experience and knowledge.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid and/or EMT preferred.
• Working knowledge of cash handling and knowledge of State of Nevada Gambling regulations and rules.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all times, with all levels of employees and guests.
• Must demonstrate and use sound judgment.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
