About the Role

We are seeking a Securities Settlement Specialist to join our dynamic team at UBS. This Securities Settlement Specialist remote position will allow you to manage client onboarding, lifecycle management, and settlement processes from the comfort of your home. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate settlement of securities transactions across various markets and products.

What You'll Do

• Execute trade settlements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across multiple securities.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in trade settlements.
• Coordinate with custodians, brokers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth settlement processes.
• Identify and escalate operational risks, ensuring compliance with control standards.
• Deliver high-quality service to clients, resolving settlement-related queries promptly.
• Contribute to team initiatives and foster a positive team culture.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization to streamline settlement workflows.
• Participate in system upgrades and testing for new market practices.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in securities settlement or a related field.
• Strong understanding of trade settlement processes and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in securities operations.
