About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on SCADA/MES Developer remote to design, develop, integrate, and support manufacturing software applications. This role focuses on building and enhancing SCADA/MES systems to support automation, data capture, and digital manufacturing initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with business users to gather functional and technical requirements.
  • Participate in system design, testing, configuration, and deployment.
  • Research emerging SCADA/MES technologies and development tools.
  • Manage SDLC phases across multiple projects.
  • Develop, code, test, and enhance SCADA/MES applications.
  • Perform troubleshooting, bug fixes, and enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or similar).
  • Minimum 3 Years of SCADA Development Experience.
  • Minimum 1+ Year of Ignition SCADA Experience (Mandatory).
  • Experience integrating SCADA/HMI with PLC systems.
  • Must currently be employed with a stable job history (2–3 years per company preferred).
  • Must currently be located in Indianapolis or willing to relocate (relocation support provided).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Python, SQL, and Expression Language.
  • Experience with system integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, XML-RPC / JSON-RPC, and Web Services.
