Sample Registration Officer - Remote Position
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Sample Registration Officer to join our team at Bureau Veritas. This Sample Registration Officer remote position offers you the chance to contribute to a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services. You will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of samples and maintaining high standards of service for our clients.
What You'll Do
- Receive and register samples and their tests through the LIMS (Labware) in a timely manner.
- Ensure that samples submitted by customers meet the required quantity, packaging, prescribed holding time, and temperature to maintain sample integrity.
- Complete applicable fields on the sample submission form accurately.
- Attach labels to samples and endorse them to the Laboratory promptly.
- Process sending out samples subcontracted to local and other MNAQ Laboratories.
- Engage with customers regarding inquiries, follow-ups, and complaints received through various channels such as walk-ins, calls, texts, or emails.
- Ensure confidentiality agreements are signed by external parties upon entry to Laboratory premises.
- Maintain and keep routine records, including amendments of COA with changes in client and sample details.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or General Manager.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with LIMS or similar laboratory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

- Previous experience in a laboratory or testing environment.
- Knowledge of sample handling and laboratory protocols.
