Risk Analyst - Renewable Fuels

About the Role

We are seeking a Risk Analyst to join our team at Neste, the world’s leading producer of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel. This Risk Analyst remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work within our Supply & Refining Middle office team in Espoo, Finland. Here, you will play a crucial role in analyzing commodity market risks, hedging strategies, and compliance monitoring.

What You'll Do

• Analyze commodity trades and monitor market risk exposures.
• Follow agreed hedging strategies and risk limits.
• Monitor daily mark-to-market (MtM) movements of selected business activities.
• Collaborate with other teams to improve existing processes.
• Solve complex cases related to commodity risk exposures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Previous experience (including internships) working with market risks in commodity, energy, or banking sectors is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of commodity and derivatives risk exposures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Strong team working capabilities and a responsible attitude with a safety-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PowerBI and Allegro ETRM System.
