Due' Cucina Italiana is seeking a passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our team at the Capitol Hill location in Seattle, Washington. As a Restaurant Manager, you will ensure operational excellence while fostering a fun and engaging environment for both staff and guests. What You'll Do

  • Lead the front and back of house teams, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and facility management.
  • Oversee daily operations, focusing on labor and food cost control, profitability, safety, sanitation, and sales growth.
  • Manage scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency, including being on-call for emergencies.
  • Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions, ensuring a strong team is in place.
  • Monitor staffing, inventory, food costs, and labor; make timely adjustments based on sales volume and business needs.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and training to team members to foster a positive working environment.
  • Respond to guest complaints respectfully and promptly, upholding customer service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and internal policies.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Prior experience as a restaurant assistant manager, general manager, or similar role is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for food.
  • Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a Food Handler’s card and Alcohol Server Training Permit.

Nice to Have

  • Culinary school background.
  • Certified Food Protection Manager Certification (can be obtained after hire).
