About the Role

As a Research Associate in Biology, you will engage in scientific activities related to a research project at our eye clinic laboratory, utilizing various in-vitro methods and molecular biology techniques.
What You'll Do
- Conduct scientific research in the laboratory focusing on ophthalmology projects.
- Utilize in-vitro methods including cell culture and organ culture.
- Perform molecular biology tasks such as RNA extraction and RT-PCR.
- Engage in microscopy techniques including immunofluorescence.
- Execute protein biochemistry tasks like Western Blot and ELISA.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Biology or a related scientific field.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and mentor junior researchers.
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with supervising scientists and colleagues.
- Previous experience in laboratory settings is preferred.
- Ability to work part-time, approximately 19.25 hours per week.
Nice to Have
- Experience in ophthalmology research.
